New Haven County Bar Association’s Annual Dinner

Attorney Filippakos attended the New Haven County Bar Association's (“NHCBA”) Annual Dinner on October 3, 2019. She was recognized as a Volunteer Attorney for the Ask-a-Lawyer Clinics for 2019. Here she is pictured with Anne Herlihy, who is the coordinator of the Lawyer Referral Service as well as the "Ask-a-Lawyer" Clinics offered by NHCBA. The clinics provide members of the community with general legal information. An attorney meets with the participant and provides a free 15 minute consultation. If the participant requires further assistance, they are referred to a social service agency or to the Lawyer Referral Service of the NHCBA. Clinics are held at libraries across New Haven County, including but not limited to, Brandford, Cheshire, Northford and New Haven.
